  • Q: How do you describe the feeling of Imposter Syndrome? When does it affect you the most? Why?
  • A: I feel like I’m unworthy of the title of web developer regardless of my hard work. It really affects me when I am presenting for the class. I’m certain it’s a confidence problem so I don’t worry about it too much because eventually, I will be confident in my skills.
  • Q: What have you learned about the tech world that you are happy to know?
  • A: I learned that the tech world is filled with people of many different backgrounds and many more points of view. I feel comfortable in that kind of environment.
  • Q: Why is the way we talk to ourselves in our inner minds so important? What effect can it have on our well-being?
  • A: The way we communicate with ourselves is not only important; it’s paramount. You must believe in mind over matter. Your mind is the most important ally and also your greatest critic. Give yourself some grace.
  • Q: What about this course is challenging you the most? How do you think you are growing through it?
  • A: This course is challenging because of its technical nature. This is probably the most challenging thing I’ve done of late.
  • Q: How has podcast listening influenced the way you think?
  • A: Podcast listening is how I consume most of my information now. It has changed not only the way I think but the way I process and consume information.
  • Q: What has your spare time looked like in comparison to what it looked like a year ago?
  • A: My free time does not exist. But I’m enjoying being busy this way.
